Belsh is the first Municipality in Albania to join the Green Destinations program, and will be competing in the TOP 100 Stories competition in 2023, as part of an ongoing process toward sustainable Certification based on the GSTC criteria.
Green Destination is a non-profit foundation aiming for sustainable destination development and recognition, that offers cities, municipalities, protected areas, and private destinations an opportunity to gain international recognition for their social, economic, and environmental sustainability efforts, through certification and competition in their annual TOP 100 competition.
This based on GSTC criteria , as an universal language for sustainability in the tourism sector.
